Homemade Beef Lo Mein

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1/2 lb spaghetti noodles
1 1/2 cups teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 bag broccoli florets
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside.

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook until they are slightly crispy yet still tender, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In a small pot, steam or boil the broccoli until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.

In the same skillet, combine teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.

Add minced ginger and garlic powder to the sauce. Stir well to combine.

Return the cooked ground beef, onions, and bell peppers to the skillet. Add the cooked spaghetti noodles and broccoli florets. Toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
